Hi folks,
It is probably worth your time to read this whole document.
The topic of “Web 2.0” and “Web 3.0” have become a real issue- it is almost as if there is a disturbance in “the force”. Jay Townley returned from a meeting where they were talking about Web 3.0 as if it were already here.
It is time that we address them directly.
Here is the audio summary of why we are releasing this material, and what is going on inside Russell’s head:
Intro to Web 2.0 and new business models (10 minutes)
Please listen to the below audios and read over the links at your convenience and consider them carefully. It would also be helpful if you would provide feedback and participation on these matters located in a new section of the public forum called: Web 2.0 Tools and Preparations.
Theme Zoom is gearing up to provide you with fully automated Web 2.0 content. As a result we have been performing market research on all sorts of Web 2.0 features that you may add to your silo-websites to monetize and your Long Tail Keywords and themes.
Remember, much of the “live data” that inspired Chris Anderson to write The Long Tail was provided to him by Amazon.com . . . the Long Tail Queen of the Internet. ; - )
You will want to hear this Interview with me and Jay about Amazon before you read more about Paul Smithson unusual strategic move:
Hear all about Web 3.0 on Theme Zoom Radio. This is an interview is about the recent Amazon strategy to take over the world one developer at a time using Latent Semantic Indexing and the Amazon mechanical turk. Wall Street thinks Amazon has gone completely bonkers, spending over twice as much on research and development than they generate in profits. We also discuss the popular Google Epic video.
Why is Amazon spending over 400 million dollars to “unbundle the Amazon store in the sky”, offering benefits to outside developers- including giving them start up resources for new and innovative business ideas? (This includes funding latent semantic indexing companies like Powerset.com)?
Theme Zoom wants to help you prepare for Web 2.0:
In a sense we are gearing up to make sure that our Theme Zoom membership is fully prepared and equipped to become insanely profitable during the Web 2.0 revolution.
The purchase of youtube.com is only the beginning of the multi-media web revolution. What Amazon.com has set into motion is a much bigger deal in my personal opinion.
Sometimes the written word is not enough to keep a visitor on a page. Especially if you have a fantasy of building an online web empire in a highly competitive environment- it will be essential to monetize in several other ways.
It is getting easier and easier to build websites. How many “page generation” software pitches have you deleted out of you e-mail box?
Audio is definitely a trend of the future. This is not just hype.
Notice how many audios I have linked to this page? ; - )
We get hundreds of audio plays per week on the various Theme Zoom articles in all of our archives.
See what I mean? ; - )
As we stated in the Intro Audio at the top of this page, Paul Smithson (creator of Xsite Pro) is only one of many entrepreneurs who will be capitalizing on the Web 2.0 revolution. It is a new sort of gold rush, and the circus will soon be coming to town.
As in any gold rush, we have found that it is best to wait for the storm to die down and not buy into the marketing hype until you are very well informed. We are not suggesting that you buy Paul Smithson’s product, we are only suggesting that you be informed and consider the information he provides.
We fully intend to review the product and let everyone know what is what. We will test the results and let you know how it goes.

I have my market research team looking at everything to determine if this opportunity is something that I can provide for Theme Zoom members, or at least something similar.
